The New Generac Guardian 7209 24kW Generator, the most powerful air-cooled generator on the market, supplies your entire home during an outage. Ideal for installations with an existing automatic transfer switch or special purpose ATS. Generac Guardian is the first air-cooled generator to comply with the 2017 NEC requiring a shutdown switch.

The 24kW Generac Guardian Standby Generator connects to your home’s main circuit breaker panel through an automatic transfer switch. The 7209 monitors the electric utility lines 24/7, then starts and runs seconds after detecting a power outage. The generator continues to run until the utility restores power. The G-Force Industrial Generator Engine runs on either natural gas or LP Gas (propane) as selected by the installer.
